Futures-Dawn
Futures-Dawn is a tale of love and loss. Set against the backdrop of a potential alien invasion.
The film Is directed/Co written by Me, Matthew W Reynolds

after having made a Black comedy, a couple of psychological thrillers and a war film, I wanted to take a shot at making a science fiction film. Scifi is my favourite genre. The starting point was figuring out what kind of story I wanted to tell. Lately I've been drawn to time travel. So I started planning a time travel story. Things Really started to fall in to place when I came up with the Stories Tragic hero, Charles.
I'm Aiming to create a short film that has action excitement and yet can break your heart. once The film is completed the hope is to enter it into festivals.
The Film stars
Brodie Masini As Doctor Charles Jordan.

Making his start in the Perth acting community in 2012 after deciding to postpone his studies in Engineering, Brodie has hit the ground running and already built up quite an impressive resume. He has appeared in several film projects including “The Silent City”, “The War That Changed Us” and “Revive”, which received the People’s Choice Award at the latest Tropfest Australia short film festival and was seen by thousands of viewers worldwide. He has also starred in local theatre productions to the likes of “Closer” as Dan, “The Wizard of Oz” as Tin Man, and David Williamson’s “A Conversation” as Mick Williams, for which he received a nomination for ‘Best Other Than Lead Male in a Play’ at the 2013 Independent Theatre Association Robert Finley Awards. Having worked with Matthew and Tegan before, he is very excited to be once again collaborating with them on this great project. The role of Charlie will prove to be challenging, but one which Brodie believes he can bring a lot of his past experiences into to portray the character as realistic as possible
Tegan M Gregory as Sarah.

Always having a love for the world of film, Tegan M. Gregory is passionate about acting and now being a part of that world. She has appeared in feature films such as “Zombie Ninjas Vs. TRG” which is soon to be released, and taken lead roles in various shorts: “Perchance To Dream” and “Turkish Delight” being personal favourites. For Futures-Dawn, Tegan hopes to bring her fun and vibrancy to the character of Sarah and help to create another fantastic film directed by Matt Reynolds. Most importantly, she is very much looking forward to rehearsing and filming laser-gun fight scenes with various movie themes on repeat (hopefully through some good quality speakers?).
Aaron Mcdougall as the evil Alien.

Aaron McDougall is a 26 year old actor out of Albany, WA. After a shooting a series of short films in Perth whilst living in Albany, including working with 'Future's Dawn's' director Matt Reynolds, he decided to make the move to Perth in late 2013. Since then he has had roles in all sorts of media formats and genres, from comedy improv, to dark non verbal experimental pieces, to action/adventure pilots. Besides acting, Aaron also performs at children's parties as superheroes, and is a semi professional musician.
