This story is a dramatic horror about our protagonist, Rose, a loving and kind teenager, who’s life takes a turn for the worst when her mum turns to illicit drug use and gets involved with Seff (a drug dealing biker) he only exacerbates the drug use. Rose has a choice, to either eliminate the threat in hers and her mum’s life or face a life of unhappiness and terror. This project is really important to us because it is our graduation project and will be our calling card once we leave JMC Academy. Not only do we have to do well but we really want to try and put all our talent into this short. Over the years there have been many adaptations of Little Red Riding Hood, but not one quite like this so please support us in bringing it to the cinema's.
How The Funds Will Be Used
Little Red will be sticking to a extremely tight budget, we are looking at the most cost effective method of producing this short however we need all the help we can get! Your donations will be spit accordingly between these departments:
Camera and lighting Department:
We have decided to use as much of JMC Academy's equipment as possible to reduce the budget however we still require a few items that we will have to rent such as a set of prime lenses.
Producing:
Our producer will need a small margin of the funds for Location hire, catering and permit costs.
Art Department:
Wardrobe: Red riding hood in a modern day needs a great costume, our wardrobe team will be designing and making the costumes themselves to save costs. Your donations will go towards buying the materials.
Production Design:
Finding a location is one thing, but just as a character of the story the locations needs to be dressed. we will use your donations to buy the props necessary to bring Rose's world to life.

The Challenges
Our biggest challenge is getting support and faith from our supporters. Yes we are not world renowned film makers but we are working towards it and this short film gets us one step closer.
