WE DID IT! 100% Funded with a week still to go... So don't stop those pledges! All funds raised now (via Pozible) will go towards the set-up costs for the show, and ensure that I can cover the bills up-front. PLUS tickets here are cheaper than they will be once they go on general sale, so please, don't think that your pledge is any less helpful just because we've reached the goal. Every dollar helps!
A farewell and thank you concert!
As a performing artist, lover of theatre and cabaret, it has always been my ambition to spend some time living and working in the UK. So, before the opportunity passes me by (which it will with my 31st birthday next year), I'm off - heading to the UK in February next year.
Before I leave on February 9th, I'm holding one final concert, bringing together the best bits of my cabaret shows "The Girl Who Won't Grow Up" and "Dirty Thirty", plus some new bits, some special guests, and a whole lot of fun to say farewell to my hometown and to the people here who have helped me come as far as I have to date. It's also a chance for me to raise a little bit more money to help me on my way, and what better way to do that than by doing what I do best!

How The Funds Will Be Used
The Pledge goal of $2500 will cover the basic costs to me of setting this concert up. While the concert is designed to help raise funds for my trip, the amount I am aiming for in this campaign is simply enough so that I am not left out-of-pocket.
An approximate guide to these costs:
Venue Hire: $750
Venue Staff: $200
Musicians: $1100
Publicity: $300
I have aimed for slightly more than the estimated costs to ensure a buffer for unforeseen costs.
Any funds raised over and above the goal will help offset some of the losses of my earlier shows this year, and I have also decided to donate 5% of any funds raised over and above the project costs to Vinnies.

Well, Christmas is not far off, after all! For $15, I will serenade you (or someone you choose) via phone or Skype with a Christmas Carol of your choice. Mutually agreeable time to be arranged once the campaign is complete. Will have to be by Christmas though...!

You can be a part of the concert! We will perform a duet together - to be chosen by us - at my concert at the Goodwood Institute on January 23rd, 2015 at 8:00pm. Includes your ticket for the rest of the concert. You will need to be able to make yourself available for a rehearsal in the week leading up to the concert, and for a time (to be advised) on the day of the actual concert for run-through & sound check.
