Hello lovely people,
In April I will be undertaking a six month specialised Teacher Training and hopefully as an Artist in Residence in an amazing, transformative Intentional Creativity Method, called the Color of Woman Method, based in California (USA) & then Paris (EU).
This is a very powerful teaching program and will enable me to bring a lot of healing to women and children around the world. The art is cathartic, healing, empowering. Part of our group work goes back to the community; we donate teaching hours, resources and/or artwork to benefit those who are at most risk in society. We give them tools to be heard, to express and to transform their darkest hours into something that allows them to edit their journey, become a 'SHERO' and create a new path. Our work goes into hostels, crisis centres, counselling rooms, libraries, schools, community centres, families, mothers with post natal depression etc…
The last group of teachers had their work exhibited at the United Nations for Women and Violence: Human Rights Activism Through Arts and Film sponsored by the Women's United Nations Network and the Women's News Network.
The program has a limited number of places available, by invitation only. I have been most fortunate to be called for a position in this life-changing course, however I require funding.
It is a fully self-funded place with preparatory work to commence from December and assessable work commencing April through September 2014. The full amount goes directly to the organisation to pay for my lessons and materials.
Funds raised beyond the initial amount will go towards paint supplies, travel costs from Australia to USA return plus 2 weeks' accommodation/transportation fees for the Graduation Ceremony. An additional teacher training week in Paris has been scheduled to learn the history and painting techniques of the contemporary symbolist movement. Anything above and beyond the curriculum will be a dream come true. What it will enable me to give back to the community locally and internationally, will be huge. Together, we'll be making a major difference.
*There are four (4) teaching residency sessions throughout that period as well, culminating in the Graduation (not included in the curriculum fee, additional funding will need to be sought once these dates and locations are confirmed).

How The Funds Will Be Used
Curriculum US$9500 exclusively for education costs to the Core & Faculty Teachers.
Additional funding above and beyond this for art supplies (Golden Fluid Paint, Canvases etc...) would be wonderful, along with travel expenses and technical requirements to facilitate online workshops (so I can include as a bonus for pledgers to experience the method for themselves).

Everything is ready to go, the funding is the priority.
Thank you my lovely ones for your kind pledge. I will invite you to a special Facebook Group in which I'll be posting pics, and you'll be able to see works as they develop. It will enable me to have a bit of a chat about how the process is going, and you'll see the painting steps as they occur. The group will be set up once the fundraising target is reached, then I'll need facebook id's to add you. xx

Thank you my sweets. Pledgers will receive an image of my work (via email) to print and frame to the size they wish (This overcomes shipping costs & framing issues). You might like to use as your desktop background, screen saver, print it out and frame it, put it into an art journal or smash book to unleash your own inner creativity. For personal use only, not commercial xx (I will need a valid email to send this to)

Thank you gorgeous ones!! Pledgers receive an original sketch on paper (black and white, no prints). This is how I start all my projects prior to creating the full image in paint on canvas, paper or wood. I'll write a little note along with it, signed, just for you xx
