The BE HAPPY ~ Prana Painting collection is directly linked to my life's mission...
to deliver as much SUNSHINE to as many people as possible through creative expression and random acts of kindness.
Each of my paintings is designed to achieve just this - to energise you. To help you smile on a rainy day :)
The collection consists of watercolour and acrylic paintings, and well, it’s really just a giant meditation of loving kindness, exploring themes inspired by the natural world, yoga and meditation.
BUT...
And here’s where it gets fun... whilst I'll be creating a stack of paintings for you to choose from, if you purchase an original painting, you can also TELL ME WHAT TO PAINT.
Basically, I want to paint whatever makes you happy! Is it your dog? Your favourite ice cream? A yoga pose? A mantra? Your yantra? Your favourite sex position (seriously, you can even request a karma sutra painting – I promise to make it mostly tasteful).
Whatever the theme... YOUR IDEA + MY STYLE = HAPPY
and, well, it will look something like these...

A note on crowd funding...
If you followed my last campaign, you'll know that it's a wee little bit stressful putting this all together. Mainly because if I don't reach my goal, I get NOTHING.
So, why the hell am I crowd funding this collection (again)?
Because, in spite of the 'all or nothing' stress factor, my first crowd funded collection worked out really well for me and for my lovely backers, and well, I have a rule that "if something works, keep doing it!", so that's exactly what I'm doing.
There are also two main benefits of funding the collection this way:
1. Firstly, I like my creations to be interactive and this collection is going to be a lot more fun if I have your input. Given that I live a million miles away from everyone, luckily, crowd funding the collection gives me a chance to do just that.
2. Secondly, getting a lump sum of money up front means less stress and better budgeting - no doubt many would agree :)

Why BE HAPPY?
Now I thought I’d take a moment to share with you why I chose this theme, in particular the title BE HAPPY.
I first connected with these two short and seemingly banal yet dizzyingly complex words during my first 10 day silent Vipassana meditation, during which time, the only voice I heard (other than those noisy chatterboxes in my head) was that of the late S.N. Goenka. These words, BE HAPPY, were repeated over and over during the course of the teachings.
And yet when I first heard these words, they annoyed me. Every time I heard it I found it jarring... uncomfortable. Like someone was rubbing sandpaper down my chakras. Read more

This is what makes me happiest which is why I’ve listed them as my featured rewards. The best part is, by backing this reward, you’re giving me the chance to share an original painting with you, which is what it’s all about. I love to set my paintings free. I also love to create things that make me happy. And equally I love to create things that make you happy, so here’s how this works...
I’m going to create the BE HAPPY collection based on things that make me happy – from yantras and yoga poses to crazy colourful birds and giant oversized giraffes. As paintings are completed, I’ll send you an update letting you know that the painting is up for grabs. The first person to reply with “I AM HAPPY” will receive the painting.
But, what makes me happy might not make you happy, so if you’re after something a little more specific, simply give me an idea of what you’d like to receive and I’ll paint it. An owl? A flower? Your dog? I’ll literally paint anything that helps fill your happiness quota!

How The Funds Will Be Used
This is how I plan on using the money you have lovingly gifted to me....
$4,000 – In truth, I’ll be eating it. Not all of it. Some of it will also go on other living expenses like shelter and water, plus, with these funds, I'll be able to create the basic collection, buy all the art supplies I need, and of course, it will cover the cost of rewards.

The Challenges
Life is full of risks and challenges. Luckily, I'm pretty sure backing this project isn't really one of life's major risks. You see, I successfully delivered over 70 rewards from my previous crowd funded collection and I'm more than ready to do it all again!

... send you an alternative reward if you are not totally happy with what you receive (you just need to pay for return postage of the original item, but for that to happen you'll need to track me down first. Only kidding, you can send it to my lovely friend in Australia who is helping me out by looking after some of the logistics).
... replace any item that goes missing or gets damaged in the post. This hasn't happened yet, but better safe than sorry! Items are sent via registered post, mostly from India, or wherever I find myself (Note: I am referring to my physical self, I 'found my self' a while ago).
