Hello Friends, thanks for checking out our Pozible campaign! 

It’s Mickey and Michelle here. You might know us as that harp and fiddle duo whose inception began with the wild idea to tour the length of New Zealand on foot for 6 months.

Well, we did it! And it was life changing and left us with feelings that were big and rich and incredible. Feelings which we have distilled into album number two!                

The album is all original songs and pieces and celebrates our friendships, our community and the music that ties us all together. It also explores the complex feelings of how we relate with the natural world and our sense of belonging.

We have really pushed ourselves musically and developed our sound over the past 5 years. Everything on this album is richer, deeper and more creative than the last. The pieces are more elaborate, the interplay between our two instruments more intricate. The songwriting has a greater emotional depth and vulnerability. We’ve become better composers, we write better for each other's instruments, and we've gotten better at playing our own ones too!

We’ve embraced our wonderful community and enlisted their musical talents with a number of feature artists including: Catie Martin, Isaac Gunnoo and a 13 piece string section!

These collabs weren’t part of the initial idea, but it soon became obvious with the album’s emerging themes that we needed our friend’s sounds and colours in there, as well as their spirits.

Recording can be a tough process and we've certainly had our ups and downs on this project. But a full day in the studio with the string orchestra was so joyous that it reset our worked up brains and reminded us why we do this (thanks friends!). We're so proud of the music we made together (it's outrageously beautiful) and we just can't wait to share it with you!

We're asking for $12,600 to cover CD pressing, studio time and the musicians. In the unlikely event that Twiggy Forest is a huge harp fan, we'll set a stretch goal for the remaining $3000.
