Middle Ground MotherhoodDear wonderful supporters from near and far! An update from your organisers, Sarah and Kate. Behind the scenes, we've been doing some fast footwork to secure a new venue after the beautiful mamas at Jackson Square let us know that they were no longer to accommodate us due to extenuating circumstances. We have secured a new venue, a mere six-minute cycle from Hindmarsh to the Healthy Living Precinct in Welland. The Healthy Living Precinct is a collaborative space where like-minded people come together. Google them to learn more. If the new venue is a barrier to your attending and you would like to withdraw your pledge, please get in touch. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on 29 May. Of course, that assumes we reach our goal of $2,000 in the coming eight days – which we expect we will but we would love to call on you to guarantee by continuing to share with your networks! Shortly, we will update our social media and create a Facebook event to let people know about the new venue and help promote our last week of campaigning. If you could jump on the event and click ‘going’ that would be very helpful. The way the Pozible platform works, we are unable to change the details once launched, so for the moment, it will continue to list the old venue. Cargo Club

For those who have already made the switch to cargo bikes, please share the love by committing to display your precious cargo. In exchange, you will get access to a discounted ticket for one adult. Details: Cargo-Bike Show-&-Tell: Most cargo bike sightings are on-the-road (or bikeway) & fleeting! We’d like to offer those attending an opportunity to have a close-up look at all of the cargo bikes there on the day. We invite cargo-bike owners - mothers especially - to bring their bikes & park them inside the building (in a designated area) to provide a ’show & tell’ display & give others a chance to take a look. We’ll leave it up to owners to decide whether they want to answer questions or discuss their bikes with those interested. Although we’ll ensure that the venue’s freight entrance is supervised & secure, we’d ask that owners participating in the ’show & tell’ make sure their bikes are locked up while on display.
