Hi all. We’re Brisbane band My Fiction. Some of you may know us, others may not, but enough with the chit chat. We’re going to New York to play at CMJ in under 2 weeks and figured we’d shoot a film clip for Harlem Meer (off our latest album Shallow Highs) in Harlem itself (coninkydink!). But we need your help to do it!

We're already self-funding the full New York trip, but need a little more monetary goodness from you to make this video happen!
We want to give you the chance to sit in the director’s chair for our clip. By supporting us you'll get to pitch ideas for the clip: what should make an appearance in the music video? What actions should we perform? Wherever your imagination might take you... in New York City...



In return we're offering some new unreleased goodies - such as a live EP 'The Round Sessions' containing acoustic versions of Neon Cola Signs, Come Home, Three Years On and Every June. Here's a pretty photo of it. Apart from that we're also throwing ourselves into your lives (via Jimmi personal 1 x 1 guitar lessons) and backyards (via intimate acoustic sets or a full blown amplified sizzle!).

The budget breakdown goes like this:
Equipment (two-three days): Canon EOS 5D MkII hire + lens kit:
Canon 70 - 200mm f/2.8 prime lens and Canon 24 - 105mm f/2.8 lens) = $1,010
Cinematographer (two-three days): $900
Any extra money raised will help us make all your crazy suggestions happen!
