Hello beautiful world, lovers of light...
we are Lulu & Mischka and we have dedicated our life to support the awakening of humanity and beyond. This streams through us in many ways, the most powerful expression for it is music.


Sound and song bring people together, unite and vibrate hearts in the ancient times as well as these modern days; in the West and in the East, North and South... in all cultures known to human kind, even in the animal kingdom (i.e. the whale songs).

Our love for everyone to rise to their highest potential, to live in peace with self and others shines through our music, inspired by Mantras from various traditions, infused with our own interpretations in english.

On this album we have chosen 10 tracks, some we have been singing for a while and others are fairly new. We sing Vedic and Buddhist Mantras in Sanskrit, Mantras from the Sikh tradition in Gurmukh, 1 Mantra in arabic from Sufi tradition, as well as a new chant, an anthem that honors many different tradition incl native americans and christianity.
For over 4 years now we have joined forces, diving deeper in our Love and let the fruits of this communion come through this sonic musical ways, bringing people together to chant the many names and ways of the unseen thread that connects us all.

How it all began:
What started with weekly, donation based chanting nights in Bondi, Sydney in 2011 called us into festivals, concerts, yoga teacher trainings and retreats in other parts of Australia. And about 2 years ago we left our home in Sydney to bridge the worlds, visit Mischkas family in Germany and share our message in EU and Asia.
We got invited to cofacilitate retreats, play at festivals over there, and also share our own workshops at high ends healths resorts back in Australia

The feedback that we receive is what keeps us going. We know about the powerful benefits of singing inspiring messages and chanting ancient mantras through our own experience, but to witness the transformation in other people brings us endless joy and is worth the effort and energy to keep going, keep organizing events.

We released our debut album 'Stillness in motion' in June 2013 and this second album 'Hearts wide open' is another outpouring of sacred sounds to inspire, bring peace upon everyone who listens as well as uplifts.

We recorded all tracks in A=432 Hz frequency, which is a tiny bit lower than 'regular concert pitch', though it is much more in tune with natural resonance of nature and known to bring back balance into our life. More info here

A big part of this project is also the incredibly talented friend of ours, our producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist Murray Kyle. It has been an absolute smooth flow recording with him. From the start of the vision to the very end.
The studio is in the little town of Uki in NSW northern rivers at the base of Mt Wollumbin. We are surrounded by bird life and lush subtropical plants. We get up every morning with the sun, meditate, move our bodies, have breaky together and then go of in the studio. The flow is amazing. Super efficient and creative.
We can absolutely relax into this project as we trust Murray and his wisdoms 100%.
We consciously chose him as he walks his life with integrity, and we love his music and enchanting productions.

We hope this gives you an idea what we and this project are about.

Recording a high quality version of our music in a well equiped studio has its cost.
Though we are trying to find a balance, we have had many musicians that contributed for mates-rates and put more energy in finding the right producer, Murray Kyle, to support a smooth flow and with the understanding and intuition of what we are about, instead of going all out for the most expansive high quality fat deluxe recording studio.
We consciously kept it alittle bit rootsy, with more focus on the message.
Though saying that, the sound we are producing is overwhelming - goosebums vibe. ;-)

So we are budgeting on AUS$ 11.111

Well, Pozible.com will take 4% of everything you pledge.

After that it comes to us and we can pay our producer and sound engineer Murray Kyle - $5000 for his incredible work
He also played a whole lot of instruments on this album: from percussion over bass, piano, dulcimer...
We will pay other musicians about $800 in total
Graphics, photos and artwork for the album cover is in between $500- $800
The video for this campaign is $300
The mastering of the album is estimated $700
Printing and pressing of 1000 CDs is $1400
On top of that we calculated some budget for extra costs that always come up int art projects, some travel costs... we also left some room for the expenses of posting CDs around the world...

And all extra costs go into promotion and marketing of this album.

As we have dedicated our life to 100% to walking this path of sharing what this planet needs and our hearts yearn for, this is what we live from.

We hope this makes things clearer for you what this process involves for us.
Also, it is not easy to fully estimate the cost of such a project and from our experience of the first album... well, there is always this little more to pay.
So even if we reach this target, we fully appreciate further pledges as it will only contribute to supporting the awakening of humanity!

Well, to be honest, sooo much has been in flow with this project that it is almost scary at times. We see these endless synchronicities as confirmation that we are doing the right thing, and we are way to far into the process of this recording to pull out anyway....
But bills and invoices need to be paid and all the musicians and especially our producer, sound engineer and dear friend Murray Kyle who is such an inspiration and without him it wouldn't be possible.

I guess the challenges are for us really on the financial side of it all.
To juggle the life that we live, with events, workshops etc every week in different places and the time consuming creative process of an album production.
To be able to pour our everything into this project to give you the best sound and experience of this sacred healing music, we have had to make compromises and take some good amounts of time out and dedicate it to this recording project.

As we said in the beginning and in the video: We are 100% commited to follow our hearts, only do what feels right. No compromises and share the light we carry with the world as much as we can.
We feel as we give our energy into the community to bring people together, we truly believe the community is here to support this project so more people can get in touch with what we share.
