This year I am trying to take my award winning solo show on the road!
One Night Stand is a dark work of solo circus that was described as "thought provoking, amusing and highly recommended" by the reviewers from Arts Hub. It was inspired by time that I spent in a Turkish Prison when I was incorrectly accused of an offence while travelling in 2011. It deals with themes of frustration, anger and freedom, using escapology, stage illusion, sideshow and even striptease! After a great run at Melbourne Fringe in 2012, the show won the Original New Circus Award, and has also been presented to great acclaim and sold out houses in Perth, Brisbane.
This year I have gigs with the show at Auckland Fringe and Wellington's NZ Fringe. But after years of touring off my own back - this time I need your help!
This is my first International tour of my own work, and to make it a great experience I want to invest in considerable publicity and marketing, including a professional poster campaign. This is stuff that I would normally do myself when touring in Australia!
You can help me pay for this poster campaign, and to pay for the flights of myself and my Stage Manager over to NZ by making even a small donation.
