My Great Uncle Tony

This is a documentary about my great-uncle Tony, who vanished between 1963 and 1973 while working as an interpreter for the Australian Embassy in Brussels during the Cold War. Prior to his disappearance, he sent a letter to his younger sister saying that something would happen that would affect the family, along with a newspaper clipping of him outside the Australian Embassy with a briefcase handcuffed to his hand.

Declan Clayton is an aspiring filmmaker based in Naarm who's currently doing a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Film and Television at JMC Academy, Melbourne. With experience already on professional sets, he decided to go back to Uni to learn more than he already knows, and better his skill set. Since Trimester 2 at JMC, he has had an interest in documentary filmmaking, and he hopes to continue his studies and improve his skills.

This is a very important, not only to me, but to my family as well, as this has actually started a proper search for Tony, and in doing this search, we have actually discovered family members that we didn't know existed. We will continue to search for Tony.
