7 year old Annabelle is starting her first day at a new school in the wilds of 1980’s suburban Australia. It is a familiar routine this awkward introduction to a new class and it raises the question, can she fit in, despite being different, and despite wearing a bunny mask?
...and what no one in the class knows, is that this day may mark them forever.

What are we doing I hear you ask?
We're making a short film and we need your help!!!
If we don't at least reach our goal of $6000 we don't get a cent.
This is our first foray into making a short (although we have done many other projects) and we want to take you along for the ride. We'll keep you updated on the production and give you exclusive access to behind the scenes content and give you treats also known as rewards. Directors Statement
I really enjoyed writing the script. I went to lot of schools as a kid and have always wanted to write a film set in primary school classroom, so it makes sense that it's my first short film. It's a pretty intense moment arriving as the new kid, I should know, I did it 12 times! So I got to experience some majorly awkward moments over the years. While this version of events in Bunny New Girl is fictional there are many real life elements are well and truly present.
So the next part is actually making the film...
This is extremely exciting for me to say the least. I've snuck the odd bit of dialogue into many a music video over the past few years, but this, this is something else. Watching it come to life in the massively talented and hilarious hands of Susan Prior and Peter Fenton will really be a great day. Well, their hands aren't hilarious, but they themselves are. Actually their hands may be funny, I'll find out for you. Anyway, we've also got some kids casting to do which is always fun, to find our main three child leads as well as the rest of the class. We've got some key crew to recruit and we've got some paper mache-ing to do. I can't wait to post a picture of us in production!

The Challenges
This is our first time making our own short film so it's going to be a great new challenge to realise our vision. We're not asking for a lot of money for the shoot so making it work for a tight budget will be a challenge too, although we are well practiced in making small budgets do big things!
