Hello All!!
I am Natasha Lea (aka miss tash kablam), a young emerging artist from Perth WA.
My whole life, art and creating things from my dreams and twisted inmagination has been the things that give me the most joy. With so many creative hobbies i have found myself working for WA fashion designers at 16 to having market stalls to self publishing cheecky illustration book and exhibiting in group shows.
I had been taking it all pretty easy and let my own illustration as well as fashion style grow untill in 2010 i became pregnant and in 2011 I had my beautifull boy Detroit. I decided to get serious and push myself to becoming a full time artist and mother. I believe when you know what you want, life provides and before long, I had been offered an AMAZING opportunity to exhibit my works at the fabulous new art gallery in the Chrissie Parrott Arts space in Maylands WA.
I have long dreamed of doing a solo exhibition and now i have my first chance.
THE EXHIBITION
The exhibition will include paintings and illustrations including a display of my self published illustration book titled 'Porn on the Lawn' (a cheeky erotic 30 page book). My new collection of vintage inspired jewelry, and a couple of costume pieces, and lastly a small collection of fun puppets.
Needless to say it promises to be a special exhibition.
