Lann dreams of a mysterious woman named Kyr, he awakes from the dream to reveal that he is on a spaceship; he travels with his brother Wey to the planet Aislinn. Their goal is to find a mystical Orb in order to complete their military training and achieve the prestigious position of a Flight Commander. The brothers have the first Orb and must unite it with the final one before they can return home. As the brothers approach the planet, Lann has another romantic dream involving Kyr. This causes Lann to start to obsess about her as he thinks she is real. At the same time Wey begins to find himself becoming consumed by the desire to complete the mission. Both the brother's obsessions cause a rift of tension between them. Lann comes across a myth regarding the Orbs, that when they unite, your deepest desire is fulfilled.
The brothers arrive on Aislinn, a forest planet. Lann is shocked to find it is similar to the scenery from in his dreams. Lann starts to believe Kyr is his deepest desire as the forest becomes a déjà vu of his dreams. The brothers follow a path which leads to a split in two opposing direction. Lann is convinced he will find Kyr down the left path as it is identical to a path he saw in his dreams. An argument erupts between the brothers which causes their separation. Lann chooses to search for Kyr down the left path, while Wey chooses to search for the mystical Orb down the right path. The brothers both fail with their goals and become lost. Wey realises his brother is what really matters to him and turns back on the mission to find Lann. Lann becomes overly obsessed by his desire to find Kyr and begins to lose sense of reality. Wey finds Lann by two streams leading into one. Lann is unconscious and Wey uses his jacket to keep Lann warm. Lann wakes and realises Wey is the most important thing in his life and was wrong in trying to find Kyr. The brothers decide to head back to the ship and re-assess their situation. This leads them to discover a new path.
The new path leads to the ocean, which appears to be the same place Lann met Kyr in his dreams. Lann is curious that Kyr might be real rushes to the position he met her. Instead of finding Kyr, Lann discovers the mystical Orb. The brothers return to the spaceship with the Orb and unite them. Lann and Wey begin their return journey home with an optimistic point of view.
