Two Men and a Camera present "Unplanned: America". A self-funded freestyle adventure, a cultural odyssey and, with your generous help, an exciting new documentary TV series.
Three ex-MTV producers, Pawel, Gonzo and Nick have bought their tickets to the states, have packed their trusty camera and audio gear and have their sights firmly set on... well, they don't have their sights set on anything in particular! And therein lies the premise for the adventure that we hope to produce and market, with your support.
The series is an exploration of what happens when your travel plans include no plans at all - of what happens when you leave your itinerary in the hands of the universe, God, serendipity or, as our Mums might say, stupidity. And which nation could be better to stage such a blatant rejection of package tours and tourist attractions as the original land of the rugged individualist - the United States of America.
The premise is elegantly simple but we aim for the results to be downright entertaining and deeply insightful. By using random American folk as our unwitting cosmic sherpas, we have been exploring the real United States, behind the silver and the plasma screens - from sea to shining sea.
