Those of you familiar with Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival will know we have a long history as the largest touring comedy film festival in Australia - we’ve spent the last 16 years taking new and independent Australian short films to almost every corner of the country. From 2003 we have expanded the tour to include several international venues, including Brazil, Malaysia, India - where we screened the films in English - and the US & the UK. 
This year will be the 17^{th edition} of OTF.

The intention of the festival remains - to celebrate a excellent sense of humour and provide new and independent filmmakers with an opportunity to screen their masterpieces.

Your support of OTF will make a huge difference to the filmmakers whose films feature in our festival, and more the audience who come and enjoy the World of Comedy Shorts. Our definition of comedy is – that which is driven by or ultimately concludes in an excellent sense of humour, and within that we have another position, and that is 'anything can be said with an excellent sense of humour'.

And that gives us a mighty canvas from which to create a fabulous World of Comedy Shorts.

                        

We wish to raise $6,000 with your support  to cover base costs for continuing the Festival. If just 60 people give $100 we will have raised the money we need to continue this festival.

This year we have an amazing selection of comedy shorts dealing with Angst & the Peculiar Deception life (& filmmakers) can take us on.

We delve in to ‘dreams & peeing in bed!’; a ‘faecal existential crisis’; ‘many failed suicide attempts’; that first ‘meeting with your girlfriend's parents’... and if you think that's gotta be seriously & wickedly odd then wait ‘til you see the; bizarre world of the ‘new middle class; ‘desperately looking young’; and, ‘the trials of love, love and love's failure!!!

None of the OTF Team are being paid (luckily we get fed). We do this because we love comedy, are passionate about short films and want more humour moving the world.  

There are still a lot of things that need to be covered though, such as;

Venue hire
Technical Transfers
Art, design and print
Rewards for you
And most importantly – getting the Festival out to as many communities, towns and cities as we can.

OTF is the longest touring comedy film festival 'in the world'!

Like many festivals today,  we receive no funding from State or Federal Funding bodies.

We challenge what's already out there in festival-land and audiences feedback they want more.

We can only continue by 'you' pledging, sharing or coming to the festival. From there we can expand to give you more comedy than your cheeks, sides and brain can handle.
