"Last Night" is a thriller directed by Chris and Robert Smellin. The short was completed for $5,300 in November 2012 and is now
being submitted to film festivals world wide. The production is
currently seeking $1,400 to help fund further festival submissions.
Outline:
A seemingly perfect newly wed couple are terrorised by two strangers in the middle of the night. The
couple wake up tied to chairs and soon discover their hosts for the
night are not strangers at all, rather a pair of vengeful psychopaths
that are intent on unearthing the dark secrets of the couples past.

About the Directors:
Chris and Robert Smellin hold a
Masters in Creative Media (film and TV) from RMIT University and a Bachelor of screen
production from Holmesglen, where they where awarded the most outstanding
student award from over 50,000 students.
Together as writer/directors that
have completed a number of short films that have screened at over 60 film
festivals around the world including WorldFest- Houston International film
festival (where they have won three REMI awards), Dungog film festival, Fright
Night film festival, Shriekfest film festival, Tallgrass film festival, West
Chester International short film festival, Shockerfest and Atlanta, Melbourne
and Denver underground film festivals.
Furthermore they have done
countless corporate videos, wedding videos and TVCs for a number of years and
have both lectured at RMIT and Holmesglen. Currently the twin writer/directors
are developing and 85 minute revenge thriller.
