The Happy Sprocket is a new project with one goal - getting people to enjoy their bikes.

All too often bikes become rusty old remnants of the past, stuck in garages and sheds all over the UK, with no hope of seeing the light of day again. More often than not this isn't because of neglect by the owners - whether it was that puncture you just couldn't get sorted, that broken chain or just because it had seized up from a lovely covering of dirt, getting your bike out of storage and lugging it to someone to fix it for you can be a real hassle.

The Happy Sprocket hopes to come to the aid of bikes like these. Based in Nottingham, we aim to be the best mobile bicycle repair service with the biking community in mind. We aim to fix most repairs at the home of the bike (or at the workplace), and for more extensive repairs or servicing we will offer a free pick up and return service.

Not only are we interested in getting bikes back up and running - we also hope to bring the cycling community together and bring new members to the community like never before. By running maintenance workshops and drop-in clinics, refurbishing unused and derelict bike parks and organising sponsored bike events, we hope that everyone can get into the cycle life with great confidence and no pressure.

Our funding goal will allow us to set up a professionally equipped mobile workshop, with a complement of the latest bicycle tools and consumables to help or customers and community members to have the most efficient service possible.
