Zac and Me is a five-minute-per-episode comedy web series about naive teenager, Emma and her heavyset, loudmouthed, New Yorkian imaginary friend Zac. It's like a cross between Drop Dead Fred and Wilfred.

In each episode Zac persuades Emma to tackle the everyday problems life throws at her in his reckless and often destructive way. Zac is the daring, fearless, confident voice in our heads that we all wish we could listen to.

We're creating a show that is funny and boundary-pushing but also heartfelt. Zac and Me is a coming of age comedy that deals with universal fears and insecurities that everyone can relate to. Zac's unconventional solutions to Emma's dilemmas will allow audiences to indulge in the fantasy of having no boundaries, no niceties and no consequences. We all went through troubling times and who wouldn't have wanted someone like Zac in their life to sort out all their problems for them. 

WHO ARE YOU? WHO IS THIS ZAC PERSON?

Well, the team consists of three writers from across the globe - Paul (your token Aussie), Natalie (the loud English one) and Zach (the hairy Yank).

Then there is Lincoln (Oscar Wilde look-a-like), one of three producers, along with Nat and Paul.

Zach also plays Zac, the titular imaginary friend who has all the answers. His amazing transformation happening with the simple discarding of an 'h'.

Paul also directs and Nat makes amazing cakes. Seriously. AMAZING.

(In case you were wondering, yes, we do like to wear multiple hats).

IS ZAC AND ME ANY GOOD?

Yes.

WHY DO YOU WANT MY MONEY?

To fix Kevin’s face? Not really. We have a great basis for creating the first three episodes of Zac and Me, with your help and the added help of West Australian film funding body, ScreenWest.

ScreenWest is teaming up with Pozible in a special scheme known as 3to1 where for every $1 YOU give us, THEY add $3. This means if we hit our $7,500 goal in time, ScreenWest will kick in $22,500!

With our goal of $7,500 we can make ONE episode, but if we make that amount quickly, with the help of a minimum of 40 supporters, we could then be in with a chance of QUADRUPLING our funds to $30,000 and can make THREE episodes.

We want you, our audience, to get more bang for your buck and also be a part of making this edgy new series. So, it's not just important that you help us but help us fast!

WHAT IF YOU MAKE MORE THAN YOUR GOAL OF $7,500?

We’d be totally chuffed if we do, no doubt about it! Right now our budget pays for our excellent crew, equipment and great production values (which means that most of us in the production team are working totally for free to make this happen). But even if we make more than $7,500, that won’t change, we’ll just be putting more $$ into making this show look even better, and have better catering.

If we make A LOT more than our goal, we may even make a FOURTH episode.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR ZAC AND ME?

We're glad you asked. For now we obviously want to make our three episodes. But we won't stop there. Ultimately, our aim is for Zac and Me to become a brand new, original concept show on TV. Fact.

After that... WORLD DOMINATION. And you could be part of it. Isn't it great to tell your friends "I liked it before it was cool"? Well, now you can tell your friends, "I liked it before it existed".
