WHO WE ARE
Outrageous Fortune is a young company, committed to creating and supporting new Australian theatre. After having two successful shows last year with Rope Burn and Life.Death.Food Outrageous Fortune aims to continue its successful run with its new show called Dinner and a Show.

WHAT WE’RE CREATING
Dinner and a Show is an interactive museum of food and will be a multi performer piece. The audience wanders around the space, guided by a map and some volunteers. Some settle to watch the first performer they come across, others move on to something different, some are dragged by the arm into a private show for their eyes only.
Six to seven performances will take place in different areas of the one space, all relating to food and including food service as part of their performance. This show is a discovery, it’s an adventure and it’s a feast!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
This is something we are very passionate about and we’d love to make the best show possible for you guys. However, sometimes theatre doesn’t come cheap, and we need to boost our budget. Here’s where you come in! We need money to pay for:
-Insurance. A sneaky witch who charges double rates then demands a tip.
-Rent of the venue. The space will be rented in its entirety for a full month. This isn’t just a theatre within a venue that we’re hiring, we’re occupying the entire building and need to pay for it all.
-Food! What would the show be without the scrummy snacks, the deceptive drinks and the tempting tasters? We need to buy enough food for 13 shows in total, and many individual pieces will need to cycle through multiple times during each night. Meaning: we need a lot of food.
