I have successfully been accepted to exhibit at one of Australia's finest regional galleries, The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston.
My upcoming show is titled 'The Liminal Space' and will be on display for 3 months, with the opening to be held on the 12th of August.
The Liminal Space lies between the known and the unknown – it is a transitional space of heightened intensity that we experience when we cross the threshold of what is known. It is a space of transformation between phases of separation and reincorporation. It represents a period of ambiguity, of marginal and transitional state. The Liminal Space is a place where boundaries dissolve and we stand on a threshold, getting ourselves ready to move across the limits of what we were into what we are to become. It is the space between the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents and his becoming Batman in order to protect others. Liminal space is Luke Skywalker’s apprenticeship in the swamps of Dagobah or Frodo’s long, slow journey to Mordor.
This exhibition will allow me to continues my exploration of non-representative forms and the possibilities of abstraction and minimalism in photo-media. The work will investigate the transformation of photographic modes of production and the manipulation and exploitation of data to invent new visual forms.
I have set up this campaign to ease the financial stress of creating a body of work of this nature and size.
Below is a mock up of the scale of the piece.

Thankyou
Thank you for taking the time to look at my crowdfunding campaign! If
you are able to contribute I would be really grateful and if you can’t
contribute financially a share on facebook or among your networks (who
you think may be interested) would be very much appreciated :-)
Your support will enable me to produce new, large and relatively expensive works and will assist in covering production and material costs associated with the manufacturing of these pieces.
All money earned from this campaign will be used in the printing and face-mounting of the works
I was unable to secure a grant for this show so I’m trying Pozible as an interesting alternative. By contributing to this campaign
you are becoming a patron of the arts and helping me realise the third instalment of what has so far been a highly successful venture. Many of my previously exhibited artworks have become permanent features in people's lives, homes and from time to time, in their public institutions.
For all of this I’m grateful and with your generous support I will continue to make new work and exhibit.

With the deadlines in place, I will determine a time-line ensuring
adequate progress is being made at each of the key stages of the
process. Negotiating an exhibition at this level is something I have
experienced previously on several occasions, , and so I believe my
insight in to what is required is a solid platform upon which to build.
