THE 21 BY 21 CHALLENGE DOCUMENTARY--WHAT WILL IT UNLOCK?
'The 21 by 21 Challenge' is a short documentary which asks 21 people with varying backgrounds and ages, why turning 21 is such a milestone and if it really deserves this status, all by the time the film maker turns 21.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT:
I am turning 21 this year and want to have something to show for it. This is where the challenge of interviewing 21 people by my 21st birthday came about.
I am very passionate about interviewing people, as I think talking to people is the best way to learn. From around the age of 16 to 20, I would interview my favorite comedians, authors and TV personalities for a previous student documentary and youth website. Totally 20 interviews.
In one year I want to interview 21 people by the time I reach the age of 21 under the alias of 'The Girl in the Red Beret.
As I'm a fan of the big key, I want to find out from the various 21 how they celebrated their 21st birthdays and what exactly they unlocked after the big 21.
I NEED YOUR HELP:
I want a broader selection of interviewees.
As I currently reside in Melbourne, this limits who I can talk to about this project.
Some confirmed interviews I would need to travel, however I do not have the means to get there. With travel also comes lugging around expensive film gear. I also have a crew, that I want to keep happy so catering generally helps.
So with your generous donations this can all be done!
Also after the documentary is done I want to get it out there, I need promotional tools like business cards ect.

Well if I don't interview 21 people by my 21st birthday on the 9th of September it's going to be really really awkward..for everyone involved...
