' ECTO ' Weapons Training has already begun as part of early pre-production for independent action feature film with the main production commencing in the first quarter of 2015.
We want to provide as much time as we possibly can with actors to ensure they are familiar with weapons systems for their characters.

1. THEATRICAL WEAPONS
Due to Australia's gun laws it is an expensive proposition to film using blank rounds for a feature film.
However the key characters within ECTO have either a special forces , tactical background or extensive criminal background .
Our focus is to connect our actors as much as possible to their characters before production commences in 2015 hence the decision to use the blank rounds to replicate as much as possible the environments for key battle scenes in 'ECTO'.

2. FILM ARMOURERS

Two film armourers will be on set for the weapons training due to the number of people attending.
The main armourer Jeff's details are listed in ' Crew ' section
3. CAMERA EQUIPMENT , DP , STEADI-CAM OPERATOR
Provision of stabilisation equipment (steadicam and Segway Operator) and 4K cameras for production. See

The importance of sound is important in this weapons workshop. See our sound editor Andrew Dickens details are listed in ' Crew '.
