Anyone got an all time favourite teacher? Someone who you credit for helping you get past an obstacle and learn to love learning? Mine is Bea Toews, my grade 3 and 4 teacher. She helped me get past a barrier I had to poetry and learn to love creative writing - something which has become my career and my family's livelihood. So when she asked me if I could possibly help her (to help a Nepalese school for under privileged kids mind you), I thought "Yes, I'd like to do that".
So I'm doing my "Donor Playlist from Hell" as part of the Bridge to Brisbane again. But this time, I'm doing it to help Bea help 'Sansar Nepal at the Garden'. To help her help open up a world of opportunity, for some other young kids. Please help :)

How The Funds Will Be Used
The funds will be used to fix up Sansar Nepal at the Garden so that it can attract travellers to stay there (It will double as a B and B) which will fund the cost of running the school and providing for the kids. All they need is $5000 to set them up to be self sufficient. I can't believe how easily we can change their world by just giving a little bit.

For $20, or any amount of money that you feel you'd like to contribute, I will include your song on my 'Donor Playlist from Hell' and sing it loudly and proudly during my 10km Bridge to Brisbane effort. Feel free to embarrass me with your selection.

To be honest, I'm not trying to entice you to donate any amount other than what you feel comfortable with. But this whole Pozible rewards thingy kind of requires me to give you different amount options. Just choose the amount you feel comfortable with. Regardless I will include your song on my 'Donor Playlist from Hell' and sing the hell out of it. I'm the voice, try to understand it :)

Bad singing + good feels
For $50, you'll get exactly the same from me as you would with $20 or $30. Effusive appreciation and appalling lead vocal work on the song of your choosing. But you'll be making more of a difference to the kids of SANSAR Nepal. If that's what is in your heart that you'd like to do, then no doubt, the reward for your $50 will be what comes from having done it. If that sounds somewhat 'Dalai', it may be because Nepal is right next to Tibet :)

This would be too bloody generous… but awesome. It would get you 3 songs on my 'Donor Playlist from Hell' + choreography rights. In other words I'd sing what you ask and dance how you demand to the song you have nominated. I can do just about any dance move (see picture of me twerking) I am an avid 'So you think you can dance' watcher. I'm great with choreo, dance is my life and I'm so not ready to go home yet :)
