The Ageing Musician Movement, started my me, is a project designed to get all those dejected, crestfallen, lost but faithful souls back into music. To all the 40+ artists out there who have all but given up, join me in the fight against those who believe you're too old if you haven't 'made it' by the time you're 25. I'm setting out to prove that a musical soul never dies and with your support I will make it happen. Help me to record my song, make the video and get my music heard. You can stay with me every step of the way. But wait, there's more... For all supporters pledging $20 or more you get to help me pick a band name and you have a say in which song gets recorded. I'm currently working on the song I'm hoping to record but if you listen to one on my 'Myspace' page (www.myspace.com/superf111) that you absolutely love and would want to hear in the charts then you can let me know and if it raises enough interest then it gets the go-ahead. I will keep my Pozible Wall and Myspace pages up to date with what's happening so you know that your hard earned money is working. The rewards get better the more you give. Ignore the current band name as I had to think of one quickly to set up the site and I haven't been able to think of a better one yet!
You guys can make it happen. For anyone that supports the project, you get a signed CD single, which will include the recorded song plus 2 bonus tracks (recorded at home) and a copy of the music video. I'll also print your name on the cd sleeve. Everyone will get a mention on 'Myspace' page and for the highest contributors ($500+), you get to appear in the music video (to be recorded in Melbourne) that will be posted on Youtube as well as a host of other music video websites. You could be as famous as Courtney Cox who made her career on the basis of her appearance in a Bruce Springsteen music video! The more you give, the more you receive. When I make it big all supporters will receive free tickets to a show of your choosing and backstage passes. I'll even throw in the steak knives for the highest bidder!
When I've made enough from the sales of the single I'll record my first CD and all supporters will get a signed copy.
