At the start of 2015, 7 artists got together and decided that they wanted to achieve something quite brave, 3 short films in a 2 week shoot. What seemed like a crazy idea was soon very much a reality. We were up and running, rehearsals were underway, production soon commenced and this miracle baby we had conjured from nothing was finally being born.

We set out to make three short films that were all very different, but were linked together by a single theme; Misogyny. We'd had enough of seeing it amongst the people we knew and cared about, so we set out to make a change. We want these films to stand for something, we want them to have substance, and most of all we want them to educate a demographic that is kidding itself in today's society. 

We successfully completed the production phase of the film (a miracle, believe me). But we really need your help. We've done as much as we can, and we've hit a point where we can't do anymore without a little bit of funding. Post production costs can really start to accumulate, for example; post sound, colour grading, editing, visual effects. We would really appreciate any support you can give! As you've probably heard countless times, every dollar helps! 

We're going to be putting the money we raise from this campaign towards all the final post production costs needed for the film. We want this film to BE something. We don't want it to fizzle away into the abyss! It has the potential to make a change in a society that is very much dominated by inequality. 

We're so close! The trailer is proof! These funds will allow us to complete all post sound, colour grading, editing and visual effects needed for all three films! Let's put our skills together and start a campaign that tries to make a change in something that is so prevalent amongst the youth of today!

We've faced a number challenges over the course of the project. Our facebook page was shut down due to copyright infringement, and we spent a number of months unsure of the future of our facebook page "The Lad Bible- Short Film". It appeared that we had breeched a copyright infringement with the original facebook page "The Lad Bible" and they were requesting for our page to be shut down. After much persistence, and pleading with facebook to keep us alive, we were back online. It was from that moment that we knew this was a story that people wanted told. We promise to deliver!
