In 2014 AWC is returning to NSW's premier Burning event 'Burning Seed' Oct 1-7 with the hope of creating our most welcoming and wonderful space yet. BUT as we're mainly comprised of poor uni students, we're asking for kind hearted souls to PLEASE HELP! We want to make this a truly unforgettable experience and the most welcoming space one can enjoy.
We already have a great lineup of artists playing on the brilliant 18k sound stage as well as a heap of projectors, lights and lasers but we want to take the next step up :D We need to cover the costs of repairing damaged gear from last year (who would think 7 days outdoors and sensitive dj equipment wouldnt mix!?), as well as providing for materials to create our most delightful decor to date, along with a new side of dance floor bar feature.

What is AWC?
An audacious AURAL delight, luscious LIGHT, lasers, burgeoning BAR and DELIGHTFUL decor AWC is designed to welcome anyone alien visitors welcome. A good fun, friendly party arena with quality music, plenty of smiling faces and merriness a must!
Featuring a smorgasbord of talent from all over Australia & Internationally playing down house, minimal, techno, psy, prog, dnb, glitch hop, space disco, breaks and the finest of fine deep dark dubsteps.

How The Funds Will Be Used
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:
To help hire a generator, distribution boxes + fuel for 7 days of welcoming
To repair dj decks, speakers and infrastructure from last years weathering
To purchase materials for the NEW side of stage bar and chill out area
To gather ingredients for delicious welcoming brekkie, lunch and dinners for all to enjoy (Both vegie and meatie options)
To purchase bulk beer and spirits materials (ingredients and instruments ie kegs) to liven the Seed experience for all
To gather more decor delights to adorn the stage and surrounds (when possible using reduce, recycle, reuse)
To provide a beautiful dance floor shade canopy, protecting our participants during sunshine fun
The more contributed to this project the better we can fulfill these objectives, providing an even more wondrous and welcoming space for all to enjoy :D

The Challenges
Due to the often harsh playddock conditions, we've had to repair or discard a number of infrastructure items which need replacement for continued seedy business (structures destroyed by wind, expensive dj equipment degraded by moisture and dust etc).
We are poor students and whilst we scrimp and save and throw many thousands at burning seed each year it still isnt enough to fully realise our creative dream, despite fundraising as much as possible there is only a relatively small community of people (as we are situated rurally and many of these people are poor uni students and/or not artistically minded folk).
We need to get funds as soon as possible to enable the best chance of finding and designing what we need.
The more you can contribute the more we can provide for the BAR with BEER & SPIRITS, the BBQ with VEGE & MEAT, as well as increase the production quality of the DECOR, SOUND & LIGHTING! So please, if we do get to the target, keep contributing as it will only make for a more WELCOMING AWC!

WOAH WOAH WOAH WE WILL BRING AWC TO YOU! Using our smaller generator, surplus speakers, lights and dj gear we will bring our resident djs to your theme camp/campsite* delivering 5hrs of sweet beats during a time in which AWC is not operating on the playddock. We are able to play an assortment of genres ranging from house, minimal, techno, psy, prog, dnb, glitch hop, electro swing, disco, breaks or deep dark dubsteps. *must already have own burning seed tix
