The end goal of this project is a printed book, featuring the portraits and gracefully given words from those involved. These will be available to order at the exhibition with 50% proceeds going towards Love Thread Project, an organisation that I am proud to support. "Love Thread Project is a multi-faceted collaborative platform for the ultimate purpose to provide education, restoration and empowerment for women at risk. Their mission is to use fashionable and creative ventures to combat social injustice against women." - www.lovethreadproject.org
For the project itself, I've decided to put together an exhibition for my 30th birthday featuring 30 portraits of people who have inspired or supported me in life. As a full time freelance photographer, I'm actively working in a career that I love and am passionate about. To get to where I am today there are so many people I can thank for contributing to my journey, with their support, creating opportunities and sharing some insightful words that allowed me to spread my wings.
Each portrait is accompanied by #WORDSOFWISDOM, a piece of advice shared by the photographed person that can help guide and inspire others to also reach their full potential. Being multi-racial myself, the collection also aims to be diverse as I am proud to work in and support multicultural environments.

The Challenges
I am blessed with an awesome support system. I asked for help a few weeks ago and have been so lucky to have numerous enthusiastic people contact me offering their helping hands. The only main challenge is time, making sure I complete everything before the exhibition date.
One on One: Camera Workshop
A private one hour camera workshop with Ryan. A great opportunity to develop your photography in a hands-on, workshop environment, giving you the skills to do more with your camera and your creative eye. (If you want more time, you can purchase more than one).
