Thank you again for all of the incredible financial, emotional and physical support during pre and production, the shoot went exceptionally well and we're crazy excited about what we've produced. The editing is well under way and proving to be just as challenging and thrilling as we'd anticipated.

We are so excited to show everyone the finished product but we are asking for a little bit more patience from our beautiful investors and future audience. In order to ensure that the first episode of SYSO is as beautiful and powerful as it possibly can be we would like to announce a new date for the Official Premiere in Melbourne on the 10th of January 2014.

But in the meantime, to celebrate everything we have achieved so far we are once again returning to Elmore, Victoria for the 2nd Annual Harvestival epic outdoor cinema event on the 16th November 2013.

Welcome to the beginning of the SYSO community! We are insanely excited to tell you more about the show and what it means to be a part of the SYSO team.

But firstly, THANK YOU so much for being here and reading or watching or maybe even giggling at my over-zealous facial expressions! You've already invested your time, support and maybe even some dollars and we are ridiculously grateful. I can't even think of a way to describe how thankful we are to have you even considering to become a part of this project.

I can't show you in words but how about in rewards? The rewards or huge-big-investor-only-thank-you packs, as I like to succinctly refer to them as, are just the beginning of what we're talking about when we say we're starting a community.

Not only are we making a television show about people attempting, failing and sometimes succeeding to sort their sh*t out, we're also creating an open forum for sh*t sorting. It sounds a bit cliche but I want us to have your back, because you so generously have ours.

As much as we will focus on making sure the best quality tv show possible will hit the screens, we're also creating an experience, a mentality, a community. As you can see with the rewards, we've tried to offer a number of ways to get this sh*t sorting started. We will also be holding events ranging from bake offs, sporting challenges, film workshops and so much more, to bring us all together under the banner of sorting our sh*t out and more importantly doing it in a fun, not so solo way. And as an investor you'll get first-dibs invites to whatever ridiculous or amazing (or both) things we come up with.


Sorry I got a bit excited, I know you're wondering what I'm actually talking about...
We are making a witty, flirty, almost sassy drama in the shape of a half-hour television series, set now, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We've lovingly named it, 'Sort Your Sh*t Out' as almost an instruction to our lead character, Zana, her friends and lovers, ourselves and even the broader public.

We are currently in a crazy-haze of pre-production for the first 20-minute preview pilot, that will go into production in the last week of August, 2013 and be released in screenings and online in late November 2013.

We are also drafting scripts for the next three episodes, to hopefully shoot and release in mid 2014, based on (hopefully) the funding, audience demand and wave of excitement created by the preview pilot.

This means we better make the first episode, pretty bloody amazing.

We have budgeted $10,000 to make this happen. We have tried to be modest and realistic so we are asking you to invest upwards of $6000 to show your support and belief in this project.



We believe that this is truly a unique investor experience and want you to get as much out of it as possible. We can't wait to share frantic video diaries, shooting script copies, test screenings, Q & As, set tours, wrap parties (and maybe even super organised, calm video diaries) with you, to make sure you're completely along for the ride and fully immersed in the SYSO culture from where-ever you are in the world.


Because all the books say, if you have a story to tell, you should tell it now. Don't wait, because you'll never be as equipped to tell this particular story as you are right now. They say don't let a lack of funding hold you back because you'll miss the moment, well guess what wise books, we're lucky enough to live in a generation where Pozible exists, so we're gonna bring everyone together and make it right this second!
But also because we think it's important as women and men in our twenties and thirties to tell stories about our generation and our experiences. There are plenty of superb shows out there about kids and teens or adults with long studied jobs or children and families but we want to talk about that middle part where we all hang out for a bit and try and figure it all out. That time is longer for some than others, and that's exactly why we're going to talk about it.
And I don't like playing the Aussie film-maker card, but that's exactly what we are, young Australian film-makers & actors, people, who want to tell their stories and more importantly have our stories resonate with or confront everyone that gets to see them.
And I know it'll be on your bloody smart phone and we'll have made it all high res and it won't even matter cos your screen's so small, its ok, thanks for watching it at all, but if you're on the tram - be careful, Zana might start picturing someone naked and then you'll start getting weird looks from the guy next to you...
Witty, wise and sexy. Zana looks like she’s got her shit together to everyone else. But she definitely doesn’t. She’s honest and opinionated but withdrawn about her own issues. She focuses on helping others to avoid fixing herself. She also has a sordid secret; she is constantly distracted by vivid thoughts of sexual encounters with those around her. She struggles to emotionally connect with people so she uses her body and her charismatic touch to do it for her.

ALLY – played by Alexandra Keddie


Ally Carter, 23, Zana’s best friend, is the over achiever. She cares too much and worries about everything. She’s super organized, focused and driven. Her professional aspirations keep unfolding as she works hard to complete her life bucket list but she struggles a little with the more intimate stuff.

SAGE – played by Sibon Fuzzard



Sage is a sassy, confident pop up bar patron in her late twenties. She is sexy, self-assured and gets what she wants. She has a rockin’ bod and carries herself like she knows it. She has been mucked around by boys before and has come to know herself better and find partners who satisfy on both an emotional and physical level. She also likes pretty girls and gets a kick out of teaching them a lesson about their sexuality.

ADAM – (casting in process)

Adam is in his early 30s, he’s charming, arrogant, and selfish and thinks he’s gods gift to women. He has multiple woman on speed dial and believes having sex with no strings attached is actually possible. He is a mans-man and enjoys watching sport, beers with the guys and complaining about how demanding women are. He has charismatic qualities however, and has Zana swept up in his appeal.

DOM BETROVSKI – played by Daryl Heath



Dom is in his 30’s, married with two children and a banker by trade. He is the ultimate family man and wants to do the right thing by everyone. He’s smart but often inarticulate and awkward. He is Zana’s ‘personal perception’ client in this episode and he has enlisted her re-branding services to realise his dreams of becoming a slam poet.

BLAKE – played by Brenton Wade

Blake is in his mid thirties, is a single dad to the adorable, 10 year old Lily. They live next door to Zana in St Kilda. Blake is dealing with an unhelpful ex-wife and a nagging mother as well as the financial up keep of raising a talented daughter. He is smart, caring and genuine but is not very self-aware. He manages a sport recreation centre and coaches junior footy on the weekends.

LILY – played by Emily Frydas



Lily is sweet and switched on. She is interested in music and sports and is very intelligent. She enjoys focusing on her studies and is very mature for her age. She brings a youthful wisdom and isn’t afraid to speak her mind about the observations that she makes.
