We are Sásta, an Irish Trad band based in Brisbane, Australia.
Our passion is playing the tunes & songs of Ireland with our own contemporary twist.
We have had an amazing couple of years playing all over Australia, at some of the biggest festivals alongside the likes of Sharon Shannon, Paul Brady, Damien Dempsey and Finbar Furey ..... we even got to play support for Aslan & also The Popes (formerly of the Pogues). 2014 will see us play in Tasmania, Melbourne, Perth, Queensland and even headline The St.Patricks Day festival in Sydney's Hyde Park to over 20,000 people. Things are moving fassssht! Playing pumping reels to an appreciative audience going nuts....Jaysus, there's nothing like it! If you've been to one of our gigs, no doubt you will have experienced the energy and passion we inject into it. We give it everything we've got , every time. This CD will be no different!
