Hi there,
We're Seasons - a rock band from Sydney, Australia who have been described as "Anberlin meets Paramore".
We're an independent band, which means we don't have the funding and support of a record company to help us, but we truly believe we've got the potential to make it as a world class act, and in order to get there, we need to bring in some 'world class big guns' of the music industry to help stear us in the right direction.
First, we will be working on a couple of singles. The songs will be tracked with, and produced by, Sydney-based producer Lindsay Rimes (Shannon Noll, Reece Mastin, The Madden Brothers) and mixed by multi-platinum award-winning producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Underoath, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus).
We recently got in touch with Bendeth, and after hearing 'A Moment of Clarity' he had this to say:
“I get a lot of these emails. Rarely do I hear a band that’s as good as yours. The singer is stunning and the band have a great sense of melody and lyrics. I was very very impressed… I am surprised you don’t have any interest from a label.”
To get that sort of feedback from an A-level producer who has worked with some of the industry’s biggest artists is incredible. We’re super stoked!
Once the songs are tracked, mixed and mastered it's on to the videos! We'll be doing some quality music videos that will be released to TV and of course, the internet.
We'd also love to plan a tour in conjunction with the release of each single.
On top of all this, we'll be hiring radio promoters in order to get our songs onto radio both nationally and internationally and to give ourselves the best possible chance of being heard.
These things all take time and (as you are surely aware) cost money.
Being an independent band with no funding from a record label, we're turning to you, our fans, followers & friends, to help make this happen!
