Sole Studios Dance School

Our story begins with a love of hip hop and the inspiration of teacher/choreographer Taneikah Wescombe.  Each year, Sole Studios, Sunshine Coast's only exclusive hip hop dance school, conducts auditons to choose their competition dance crews.
Our junior, varsity and open crews, Expialidopest, Checkmate and Genetik, have trained hard to get to the top of their game. All three dance crews Sole Studios entered in the Australian competition, qualified for the World Hip Hop Internationals 2014, where over 280 dance crews from all over the world will compete in Las Vegas. Due to the huge costs involved, we will this year take two crews to Vegas, Checkmate and Genetik.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us. We will be dancing with the best hip hop crews from over 40 countries around the world.  Our crews will showcase the amazing talent of our Aussie hip hop dancers. Australia is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the hip hop dance arena. We not only represent Australia, but where we live, Nambour, Sunshine Coast,  Queensland.

In the lead up to the competition, we are training hard to be the very best we can and make you proud of our achievements. There will be challenges along the way but we are working hard to fundraise and no matter what, we are going to Vegas. We have the total support of our families and our extended Sole Family, so you WILL see us in Vegas, making our country proud.
