Welcome to the Nest!

We're guessing that you're probably here because you're a Nestie! If so, we don't need to reintroduce ourselves, as we're old friends - you probably just want to hear about the project.

But if you're new, here's a brief introduction... 

We're just two ordinary Aussie comedians hiding out in the Canberra suburbs, waiting for our lucky break...

Who are we kidding? ... We're not the hiding type! In fact, over the last 4 years we've been on the road touring Australia and abroad, bringing our unique cheeky humour to whoever will listen. We're 100% independent - which basically means we get to write about whatever we want! ...as long as we pay for it ourselves.

We started out as 2 best friends, taking every chance we could to make the world (and each other) laugh. Over the last 4 years, we've grown a huge bunch of loyal Nesties who have shared the fun and laughs with us along the way. 

Our first song Ruin Your Day went viral which meant we had to get a much bigger Nest.

It was so much fun, we even got to have a chat with Lisa Wilkinson on the telly!

We've recorded two full length albums, one with the generous help of our Pozible supporters and the other through our Tit Biscuit drive. 

We've performed all across Australia, NZ and in 2015 we took our 5-star show to the Edinburgh Fringe. We've appeared on Channel 9. ABC TV and reguarly feature on ABC radio. We LOVE what we do!

However, we don't get to take our music everywhere and would love the chance to share our music with more people. Recording is the best way for our music to be shared with the world. That's where you can help. We'd love you to be part of creating our third full-length album - this is our best one yet.

We've already been busy recording songs, including the mega hit Love the Vagina - check out our new clip!

We're not going to beat around the comical bush, self-producing means a lot of work and a lot of self-investment. It's our labour of love which means it can be tough at times to scrape together the resources to make it work. But we believe in what we're doing - we want to continue to add our voice to the comedy arena, as no one is doing it quite like us. We want to change the fabric of comedy in Australia, bring a fresh perspective and give a unique female voice to the funny things that matter.

We probably don't need to spell it out... recording is expensive! 

Here's a breakdown of our costs:

Studio Hire & Producer Fees = $6000

Musician Fees = $1500

Photography  = $500

CD Manufacturing = $1500

Graphic Design Costs = $500

That's a grand total of $10,000!

We're not asking for the whole amount, as we're going to be working hard to raise the rest. However, if we manage to exceed our target we will be able to spend more time getting the CD finalised and less time selling our souls.Our incredible producer - Matt Fell from Love Hz Studio

This will be our third recording so we are well aware of the possible challenges we face. We've already recorded a couple of songs for the new album and are all set to return to the studio in the next few months. Our major challenge is finances - without your help, we will have to change our grand plans of a studio recording to the boot of our car... not quite the sound we were hoping for.
