ARBORI DEBUT EP
After a fan said, “it’s so hard to be your fan as there is not enough music released” it was clearly well overdue to release an EP
Arbori began over 4 years ago and released Biology of Memories the debut single in October 2010. Since then we have released three more single all of which have been sign posts in our development and discovery as writing and recording musicians. From short folky pop, to long ethereal indie and jazz our recording projects have been nothing short of audacious often involving large bands in live environments. We are very proud of these recordings and very grateful for how much you all have enjoyed them.
If you haven't heard any they are available for download here:

This EP will feature four of Arbori's strongest songs to date. We want to take our production process out of bedrooms and into a studio to create a product with an audio quality that is more competitive amongst the main radio broadcasters.
Our passion is to communicate not self-indulge. We enjoy making music but we don't make music for musics sake. We make it for you're sake. If it was all about fulfilling our own desires we would hide in a garage and play on alternate weekends. It's not. It's about sharing. It's about blessing people with music the same way it blesses us. If we can't share it and it doesn't uplift and encourage our listeners then the passion we have will slowly dwindle. It's our sincere hope that this EP will speak clearer and more intimately than our previous works.
The band will be the Arbori boys that have loved creating and performing for you over the last four years Paul Brown, James Hutchinson, Tom Swanton, Tim Bradley, Josh Boneffin and Steve Barnard:

this is the second attempt for this campaign with a much much less ambitious budget. And it always feels risky asking people to invest in you more so the second time around. It was very clear in the first instance that we were not going to reach our goal so very quickly re-assessed and re-launched the project.
The biggest challenge of this Campaign was the organisation of it. Doing pre-production for the EP, booking a promo tour, recording videos and tracks, etc... I've been preparing since Aug so a lot of those challenges have already been faced.
For the recording project itself I think the biggest challenge will be working to a deadline. Everything we get done in Blackfoot Studios is is going to sound far better than what we do in home studios and I don't want to be recording in my bedroom afterwards as we 'ran out of time'. That's why pre-production has been such an important element to this project.
