Hello there everybody. Thanks for checking out our video, we hope you enjoyed it!

Strings for Ammo are a Brisbane based duo who write and perform our own blend of Folk/Rock music with a unique Celtic twist. We also collaborate with various other musicians Nationally and Internationally in the writing of some of our tracks which also adds a few other dimensions to our sound, and is a great way to meet new artists and discover new music. We are constantly and vigorously performing to fund our next venture, whatever it may be. Whether we're busking on the streets in Queensland or New South Wales, to playing bigger scale festivals and band competitions, it's a s simple as this... We love to write music and play it to anyone who wants to listen.

As you have heard we're currently locked away recording our debut album "Leave your Judgement at the Door". Set for release in late June 2013 if all goes to plan....

As it stands we have found ourselves an amazing Brisbane studio, "Tonedown Studios", owned by Engineer/Producer/Musician, Kevin Browne (www.kevinbrowne.com). This is where we have been working for the past few months, and here's a picture of us "getting things done" with Kev.

The album is sounding mighty fine at the minute (if we do say so ourselves), but to take it to the next level with top quality production and mastering we need a little extra funding. And that is hopefully where you guys come in.

Here is a breakdown of our costs...

- $3,000 Recording 10 tracks

- $4,000 Mixing and mastering of 10 tracks

- $2,000 Design, print and promotion of album as a hard copy and digitally

So thats a total of $9,000...

$4,000 of this we have already funded through performing and sales from our busking EP, "Not Official".

The other $5,000 we could use your help. Every single person who donates will get their name on the inlay of the CD, and anybody who donates $15 upwards is guaranteed some fantastic "merch" that we have to give away. Check it out in the rewards section >>>>>
