The most unique feature is the sole. I find that the best shoes to shuffle in are ones that you've had for a few months and have worn down that sweet bald spot on the ball of your foot where you put all your weight when you twist. Some people even tape the soles of their shoes so that this part is nice and smooth and you can twist easily. This kinda solves the problem but after a while it wears through and then you just have sticky crap on the bottom of your shoe. So what I did was make a sole that already has a smooth section on it. I gathered up all my old thrashed pairs of shoes, averaged out the areas where they were worn and that’s how I came up with the design for the sole. The rest of the sole is nice and flat like a standard skate shoe, so overall it’s got grip where you need it, and it’s smooth where you don’t.

The shoe is really comfy and soft on the feet but still quite rigid so you can smash up the dance floor all night and still be able to walk the next day. The upper is all leather with quality stitching so it’s going to last a lot longer than some of the cheaper crappier options. The elastic design gives you a nice snug fit without the hassle of laces. The graphic on the side is what it’s all about, a killer festival scene, DJs, dancers, and massive speakers on an awesome summer day.

But I Can Already Shuffle, I Don't Need These Shoes!

You’re right. Spot on. You do not need these shoes to shuffle. You do not need skate shoes to skateboard. You do not need flippers to swim. You do not need football boots to play football. But all these shoes make their specific activity easier. I'm not trying to con people into thinking you can only shuffle in these shoes, but they will definitely make it easier.

And if these don't appeal to you...sweet, no dramas, not everything is for everybody. I just hope that enough people can get behind me so that I can not only get these shoes out but in the long run develop a fully fledged brand dedicated to shufflers and the shuffling scene. I've had some amazing times out shuffling and partying so I’d love to be at a stage where I can support upcoming artists, events, and anything that contributes to other people having as much fun in life as I've had.

How Have You Gotten This Far? How Do I Know you Can Deliver?

My Dad has helped me a lot with my project. He runs a business that helps inventors and startup companies make their ideas a reality. With his knowledge and contacts I have managed to go to China, meet with manufacturers and get a prototype made. The factory is standing by and all they need is the money to start full production and shipping.

What Sizes Are Available?

For the first run, only sizes 7-13 US will be produced. As soon as possible other sizes will be added to the range. If your size does not fall within the current range please email me or contact me on Facebook with your size and you will be notified as soon as they are available. Anyone who advises me of their size while the Pozible campaign is running will only have to pay the pre sale discount rate. IMPORTANT! Please measure your foot in millimetres and use the conversion chart to get the correct size, if in doubt just send your size through in millimetres. All sneaker labels have different sizing charts, so what size you are with another brand may not be the same as with Southern Shoes. Our sizing chart is almost identical to Nike's,

Are Other Colours/Styles Available?

As we are just starting out we are unable to offer different colours and styles yet, but there are definite plans to expand as soon as possible. Plain white pairs can be made upon request, just let us know when you Email your size.
