Hello, My name is Sue and I am prepped to make the leap, launching my label onto the global stage.

I design and create exquisite women's ready to wear clothing for all occasions!

I would love to share my designs with you.

At present, I work part time as a registered nurse, having completed an Advanced Diploma in Applied Fashion Design and Technology on the Sunshine Coast.  I have slowly worked toward this goal, creating fashion garments for parades and competitions while raising a family, working and studying .......

                  But now it's time to fly!!!.

I live in Hervey Bay, on the Fraser Coast, 4 hrs drive north of Brisbane. Beautiful, yes, but not quite the centre of the fashion universe!!   I am set to alter that!!

I have commuted the 3 hours each way to Tafe for the past 3 years, so drive and passion are not an issue.
Using technology, I can see the possibilities of creating a strong business whilst living where I choose, (something akin to Karen Walker, a NZ designer who lives in her favourite part of the world and manages a global enterprise!)

I have a micro business supplying limited amounts of women's ready to wear garments to a local boutique, and on etsy.com (ivyrosedesignstudio.etsy.com). I am passionate to take my business to the next level.

To do this I need.... besides my design, patternmaking and sewing skills......

Funding........ to be able to purchase enough fabrics and trims to produce my designs in a range of sizes. Fabric, even at wholesale prices, requires a substantial initial financial outlay!!!! (minimums are usually 13 to 15 metres from smaller wholesalers,with some wholesalers minimums being 100 metres!!)   Down the track, my dream would be to have my own exclusive print!!!!.....
