Swamp Fat Jangles

It is with great excitement and the buzzing summer bees that we would like to introduce Swamp Fat Jangles’s Pozible Campaign to you… 

Herein you will find a fun and creative cause to get behind this summer.  This is a band that will make you laugh, make you cry, make you ask the world why?.. Why can’t we have more songs like these in our lives? Why can’t we all live in a swamp and be one with mosquitoes? 

Swamp Fat Jangles are looking to remedy those exact ailments. We want to bring our songs of the swamp to your radios, hi-fi's and headphones. 

With our debut single “You Only Say I Love You When You’re Drunk” being placed on rotation at FBi Radio, chosen as FBi’s “Independent Artist of the week”, premiered on Triple J and played over 20 community radio stations across Australia in the first month of release, we have been given the airwave love and support to confirm that there is a want for more and we have only just begun.

It has been a good two years of hard work, making difficult decisions, gaining members, gaining support and getting to the real nitty gritty of making music. We are now in for a big push into the new year. We are asking that you wonderful people join us and assist in bringing an epic four track EP to life.

We have grown as musicians together and independently for over four years. With very handy and resourceful members in the band, we have built our own rehearsal studio, and funded our own musical endeavours until now. 

With the help of some wonderful characters we are ready to create some truly swampy and harmoniously crafted songs for our debut EP. 

We couldn't be more chuffed to have the legendary Sarah Belkner producing the EP. With Sarah's musical composition and production expertise, our audible swamp vision will be meticulously and beautifully crafted and finely tuned to make a grand sounding and holistic body of work. 

Recording will be captured by the very professional and lovely hands of Clay and Matt running The Brain Studios, where some of Sydney’s finest bands have recorded of late. 

Our video content is being conjured, chopped and rendered by the incredibly talented Matilda Cassey, who is nothing less than

 a swamp conductor herself. 

As inherent as story telling is in music, we have always endeavoured to portray tales of the swamp and its watery mysteries. With the hive of creative minds we have working on this EP, we are ready to bring these sounds to the world in ways we never have before. We would love for you to join us in this tale, and pre-purchase the album so we can make this a cracker of a project.

We are currently in pre-production with Sarah and friends, and we are all guns blazing until we achieve our goals.

Additional expenses involved for the band will be… 

Merchandise manufacturing - $1,000

Album hard copies - $400

Total - $1,400

We are hoping to raise $7,500 to cover the basic expenses of the recording, mixing and mastering. 

If we are lucky enough to raise more than that, we will be able to cover the rest of the project’s expenses. 

It's been a long time coming and many hours of writing, gigging and rehearsing. We have a great team around us now and are so excited to get into the studio so we can share this EP with our friends and supporters. We have all our chickens in a row, and now it's just time to do it, and pay for it. 

We anticipate that the EP will be ready to share from February 2018.
