I (honestly) Love You - a comedy that follows two people both with a truth-telling disease, as they meet and fall in love - was nominated for two awards in the Equity Guild Awards 2012, including Best Play, and was  nominated for four Blue Room Theatre awards including Judge’s Choice and Member’s Choice,  The production sold out The Blue Room Theatre and the return season at the Churchlands Concert Hall.  Now our show has been invited to perform at the New York Fringe AND the fabulous C Venues for the Edinburgh Fringe...they've allocated us their best time slot! Edinburgh is the largest arts festival in the world and New York the largest curated festival in North America.  Being invited doesn't mean being paid - we still have to find the money for venue, airfares, accomodation and all sorts of crazy fees!

And that is where your generousity and support comes in....our problem is finding the money to get us over there.  The flights alone come to $18,472.00. We are seeking your support to pay for part of the cost to fly our five team members over. Our budget with all costs minus any income is around $80,000 so any help you could give us would make such a big difference!  If you would like to support us and our goal has been reached please still donate -  every dollar will help with our costs.   The festivals guarantee exposure but are not money spinning events, people are lucky to break even, but the experience and networks (producers, agents, festival curators) would be undeniably AWESOME!

Lockwood Productions is growing from strength to strength. Damon Lockwood’s last script/production Horsehead was bought by Italian Theatre Company Cattive Compagnie, who performed this piece over three separate seasons and won the inaugural Roma Fringe Festival 2012 for Best Play. The Italian production of Horsehead will also be playing at the New York Fringe in 2013. To have two works by the same author in such a competitive festival is testament to Lockwood’s growing reputation as a writer.  Please support us we would (honestly) Love You forever. x
