HUNTER is a short film about three young adults who go four-wheel driving, when their fun takes a nasty turn for the worst out in the bush. When Jake and Ellen find the body of their friend Pete, they have to try and escape from the forest. Will they make it, or will they share their friend's fate?

Written and directed by Talen Herzig and produced by Alex Price, we aim to deliver a twist on a cliché B-grade slasher film. This film came about while the director was doing sound recording on a location out in the bush, and couldn't help but conjure up a gory little tale around himself. Caught up in the story, he had no choice but to write the script and get it made. Now we need your help to make it come to life!

For this project, most of the funds will be coming out of our own pockets for essentials such as catering and fuel expenses (unless you guys are so generous that you push us over our target!), but to really sell the film we need decent production design and props. We are also aiming to submit the film to several festivals around and outside of Australia, and any excess funds will be used to try and get our names out there and into the industry. This isn't just for us as director and producer, but also for the whole crew, who have generously agreed to donate their time and effort to making the idea become a reality. Each of these talented individuals deserve the chance to shine, and we need your help to do this.

We have a fantastic crew behind us, and have secured most of our props and an extensive supply of fake blood, but we really need the funds to pay for the hire and production of these important set design elements, and that's where you come in.

The funds raised from this campaign will go towards paying our armorer and really making we sure we have the resources to sell the art in the film, as well as trying to break into the big wide world of film making through festival entries and marketing, and we can't tell you enough how much we appreciate your help when it comes to achieving that goal!

We have assembled a fantastic crew of filmmakers, including many people we have worked with before on projects, and we're confident we can face most of our challenges head on, but we need your help to succeed. The biggest focus on this sort of film lies on the talented people in art department, who can really make or break something in this genre. The current challenge we face is ensuring we have the funds and support to give our art designer the chance to make this look as cheesy and amazing as we can, but with your help, our faithful supporters, we're 110% confident we can overcome this hurdle and achieve our vision.

Following the actual production of the film, one of the biggest challenges for all up and coming filmmakers is breaking into the industry, as this is the next hurdle we all face not just on this project, but on everything that follows. Having the opportunity to put something out there and show our skills to the world is something we would be eternally grateful to our supporters for.
