It's 16,891km's from Melbourne to London. Join Grim Fawkner in his biggest musical undertaking yet. The boy from the rural NW coast of Tasmania, whose dream started with singing in the furthest corner of his family's back paddock, is now making his way to the other side of the world to share his unique and passionate brand of songwriting.
From pubs in Ireland to streets in Scotland and festivals in England, Grim will be representing the earthiness of Australian folk/roots/country music and learning the inner workings of international touring, in an effort to assist musicians back home with his experience. Growing up in an area where there weren't many opportunities for musicians to gain a solid musical footing has ignited in Grim a passion to assist other musicians with realising their own dreams.
Grim has been performing 100's of shows in recent years, all around Australia and NZ, bringing audiences to absolute silence and irreverent cacophony both. His charisma on stage is undeniable, his guitar playing inimitable, and his voice enduring, bearing the twin burdens of happiness and sadness across a plethora of well composed songs. He is an organic force, more comfortable on the stage than in the studio, and it comes across in his humour and easy manner of performance.
Enabling Grim Fawkner to take on this challenge of independently touring the entirety of the UK by his lonesome will assist not only his career, but those of his peers and in essence the Australian music scene overall.

The Challenges
The biggest obstacle I will need to overcome to take my music to the UK is the money side of things. If this campaign doesn't reach the target I will be busking even harder over the next couple of months, selling some other musical equipment, and anything short of standing on a street corner (without a guitar).
