Tarantula Genus

Trash Mansion is a theme camp dedicated to bringing libations, live music and shenanigans to Burning Seed. This will be the fourth year we are bringing the Mansion (under its green and white striped incarnation) and its legendary bar to the burn.

Unfortunately, the bar has seen better days, the last burn saw it splashed, spanked and danced upon. it has served us well and will be sent off in true burning seed style (it's kindling baby!). But we now need a new bar, and like every theme camp, we want to be bigger and better than ever, every year. We need to up scale our bar so that we can continue serving our delicious and tasty beverages to you!

This is our first time going down the shameless begging for money route. We like to think of ourselves as a self-sustaining unit, who all work hard to bring the Mansion and its drinks and live acts to the Burn. We have run out of time to raise funds any other way, our future fundraisers are already designated for our hardworking artists and musicians. This fundraiser is a chance for those who have enjoyed our parties and general trashiness and who want to help us continue in the same tradition. KEEP THE TRASH ALIVE!

This will be a big job, we need it to be big, sturdy and shmick looking, so we are going all out. The below figures are estimates, we have gathered quotes and pricing, but the exact quantity needed really depend on you, the more we raise, the better the bar will be.

Materials (wood and hardware): $350 (actually spent about $1600)
Decorations: $250 (material was $500)
Lighting: $280 (exactly right)
Beer Tap stand: $120 (no beer tap stand, we can't afford it this year sadly)

UPDATE: we have gone way over budget, any additional help would make you loved and adored by the crew! Our original budget was woefully optimistic!


All additional funds that we may make will go into making our bar even more awesome, with more money for decorations, including plush wallpaper, velvet draperies, and if we can raise enough money a barmixer for our cocktails!

We have a crew of carpenters and builders ready to take on this project, led by The Professor. Their design expertise and building skills will ensure a smooth construction. The obstacle as always is time and money. We have designated time for the construction, now we need the funds!
