The uplifting and energising band from Darwin, The NEO, have recorded their second full length album. They are now raising the funds to mix the tracks, have them mastered and pressed so the album can be released.
With the working title of "Playmode", this album will be the first that The NEO has recorded in a professional studio. The band had the privilege of working with the gifted Paul Pilsenik at the prestigious 301 Studio in Byron Bay.
The NEO have worked for years on this album and the the journey has taken them all over Australia, with songs written in far north Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory to the misty tops of the Blue Mountains, from the icy slopes of Mount Perisher to the red desert in central Australia.
Covering these massive distances to bring their music around Australia has been an enormous, but rewarding challenge. It has enabled the band to meet so many amazing people and share in so many stories. This album is a culmination of that journey.
With your help, the album can be mixed at industry standard suitable for radio play. All funds will go towards taking the recorded tracks to a professional studio mixer and completing the bands greatest work spanning more than a decade.
