Due to overwhelming early support, we are shooting for the stars and announcing our dream target of $2500. HELP US MAKE IT!!

This will allow us to pay for a graphic designer, production photographer...and get some very special RABBITHEAD COLOURING-IN PLACEMATS that are going to all over The Blue Room Theatre Bar for the duration of the season. Come in, grab a drink and a jar of crayons and get to work on your own Rabbithead masterpiece designed by Jacinta Larcombe!!

TO CELEBRATE: Here's a killer set from our Sound Designer Catlips at BOILER ROOM!!Alone in a house, two girls celebrate each other’s birthdays. They have a visitor. Rabbithead has a present for each of them: one from the past, one from the future. He wants to play, and won't take no for an answer.


Thanks to Creative Partnerships Australia, every dollar you pledge up to $1000 will be matched through their Match Crowdfunding for the Independent Arts Sector initiative, provided we reach our target!

We are creating this new darkly comic devised work from scratch, building our world from the ground up. We are doing it with sugar. Sweet sweet sugar. We will be using a fairy floss machine, on stage, to build the set, the costumes and the world for the audience. Everything seems sweet, but may end up in a sticky mess.

Sweet turns sour in this new work from Little y Theatre Co (Scent Tales, Second Hands) and whatshesaid. A dark comedy of strawberry jam, bloody hands and how hard it is to keep the past buried.

Our campaign was selected for inclusion in MATCH by The Blue Room Theatre, one of 17 independent arts organisations appointed by Creative Partnerships Australia to distribute matched funding, based on their capacity to reach, influence and work collectively with artists across different art forms.

MATCH funding means every dollar you give goes twice as far, helping to set up this production for success.

We are purchasing a fairy floss machine and the required materials to run it. We would never have considered this an option if it weren't for your matched support - just a sweet sweet sugary dream.

$300 - Materials to run it for 4 weeks (rehearsal %20 3 weeks performance)
