Shairspace Gallery is a unique contemporary gallery situated within a multi-use space in Darlinghurst.
The gallery has been dedicated to providing emerging photographers with the opportunity to develop their practice and acquire mainstream exposure. Shairspace is committed to providing exhibition programming with relevance to a diverse local audience.
Shairspace also hosts an opening night exhibition of the photographers works and allows for the space to be used for up to two months at no cost to the photographer.

An exhibition at Shairspace includes: A two month show, invitations, opening night cleaning costs, media/publicity assistance, management/curatorial assistance, and food/drink sponsorship.
What I really need right now, but am finding difficult to fund, is appropriate lighting for the events. I am currently limited to the original florescent lighting that came with the space. The images look fantastic during the day with natural lighting, but on the nights of our exhibitions, sadly the images simply don't shine like they do in the light of day.
If I do reach and surpass my goal, of course I will put money towards the goals of others.
Shairspace is by day, a shared environment for freelance hairdressers to own and operate their own business independently. For donating, I will offer up to the same value in haircuts. I am offering up to 100 people 50% off of a haircut with me, the founder of Shairspace, Timothy Stone.
