G'day everyone!
On Saturday 28/9/15, someone with a conscience far less considerate than those I hope this message reaches broke in to my car and stole my GoPro camera, some shirts that were tailored gifts I wore at my brother's wedding and Grandfather's funeral, and a fair chunk of my trust for parking my car in my own driveway. This isn't the first time this has happened, as the year-old busted locks on my boot (trunk) and doors will attest.
I slug though part time in a menial retail job over weekends to make ends meet, while pursuing the tricky dream of work as a full-time musician and film maker. To have such a valuable and consistently used tool in both these fields stolen from me (along with all the invaluable footage that was on it), and such sentimental items of clothing was heartbreaking.
Between rent, bills, a university debt, and the constant DIY expenses of a career in the arts, replacing the camera and tops out of my own pocket is currently financially unachievable. Continuing to express my passion, however, for creating movies and music isn't, if the kindness of friends and well-wishers dispells the selfishness of one greedy neighbourhood stranger through this little fundraising campaign.
There's a couple of incentives to donate listed that'll hopefully give you something you love and/ or enjoy back for being a generous person. The idea that I can in some way repay your generosity in replacing my stolen goods with creative and completely unique things as an affront to the negativity that spawned this idea is, to me, what life is all about.

How The Funds Will Be Used
All the money will go to buying a new GoPro. If there's leftovers I'll donate it to Co-Ground, a non-for-profit charity that does awesome things for impoverished folks all over the world.

The Challenges
The challenge is not getting robbed again! I'm installing a sensor light out front to deter further prowlers, so here's hoping it's enough to scare them off from now on.
