Hi all!
We are brothers named Jake and Sam. Together we are Venus Court. This pozible campaign marks a very important achievement in both of our musical lives.
We have been writing and playing music together since we were kids. After a long time of planning and preparing, Sam moved down to Melbourne last year to finally start a band with his brother Jake.
The day Sam moved to Melbourne
After speaking heavily with our family about how we were going to make our record, our Aunty Nat suggested and introduced us to Pozible. This is where you come into the picture.
We plan on heading back to the Gold Coast (our home town) to record Venus Court EP 1 over a weeklong period.
We already have the songs, the knowhow and the excitement. We hope you can make this dream a reality!

How The Funds Will Be Used
RECORDING COSTS
We will be using the funds to complete the recording of our Venus Court EP 1 Project. Costs include studio and engineer hire, gear allowance, mixing, mastering and CD manufacturing. Additionally, we will be utilising the donations to produce our band merchandise and rewards, including T-Shirts, Patches and band posters.
Here is a breakdown of our costs:
Little Pink (Studio), George Carpenter (Engineer) hire %20 gear allowance for 1 week : $1500.00
Additional week of mixing in studio (George Carpenter & Little Pink) : $1500.00
Mastering of the EP with Brian Lucy in Magic Garden Mastering (LA) :$ 1000.00
CD Manufacturing through : $1000.00
Rewards (T-shirts, patches and Posters) : $ 2000.00
