Ever since I discovered GarageBand, six or so years ago, I've been composing music with the most basic tools — a QWERTY keyboard to create soundscapes, a stocking-covered coathanger for a pop filter, and a mobile phone to record my baritone vocals. But it's time to finally upgrade to something more convenient.
This Pozible campaign will raise AU$220 for a MIDI keyboard, to deliver a long overdue 4-track digital EP. With the MIDI keyboard, the production process will be much accelerated, meaning the EP can finally be released by the end of winter, 22nd August.
How The Funds Will Be Used
The AU$220 raised will be split accordingly:
* AU$140 for the M-Audio 49-Key USB MIDI Keyboard
* AU$40 for postage/handling of MIDI Keyboard
* AU$40 to cover a portion of making and mailing out rewards
(Surplus funds over AU$220 will cover remaining mailing/admin costs)
The Challenges
The only foe to overcome is Time itself.
