This is Davina speaking,
I have an itty-bitty $450 problem. You see, I made a piece of theatre and I’m self producing. And in my excitement I threw all my cash at the production and forgot about the rent.
It’s not like I’ll be sleeping on the streets, it’s just that we need $450 to pay for our fabulous venue. Otherwise we’ll have to perform in the living room at Sassy Boutique (AKA my house).
There are wonderfully talented people on board. Cazz Bainbridge and Ross De Winter will be performing with me, Sarah Joyce Irvine and Owen Phillips are our designers and Foragers (AKA Simone Gustafsson) wrote the score.
The Jar Collector is all designed and made and rehearsed and ready to go. We just need to pay the remainder of the venue hire so that we can settle in and show people our theatre.
It’s going to be a fabulous show and it’d be such a shame to have to show it in our living room.
So we’re asking you, dear family and friends (and employers and colleagues and acquaintances and that guy I just saw on the tram who smiled at me), to all pitch in to reach our goal of $450 to secure our exceedingly cool venue.
