Huckleberry Blues

Hello there. Huckleberry Hastings is the name, and Im here to (hopefully) enlist your support in bringing to life, the songs and poems that are so close to my heart, and that will hopefully touch you the way writing them has effected me.

Finally, after purging my soul into notepad upon notepad, I have the songs I want for my debut EP, which I think will be entitled Huckleberry Blues. In my head I have this incredible picture, of collaboration, creation, overall artistic explosion. I have the privilege of constantly being surrounded by the most beautiful and creative people I could ever even conceive of meeting, and I want to work with all of them, and more, in all different areas of the process. I want to hire the innovative filmmakers I have met, and pair them with the phenomenal set designers, actors, artists and photographers to create new artworks and collaborations. I want to work with all the musicians I have met and give my songs a whole new depth.

A few months ago I released a single I recorded (Exorcism), produced by Doc Holliday Takes The Shotgun's Maxo Harrison, onto triple J unearthed. Which gained success, quickly weaving its way up to number 14 over all and number 7 on the indie charts. This bought into fruition many gigging opportunities for me, which I have been so blessed to have, allowing me opportunities to play with bands and musicians I regard with much esteem.

The last few years has also seen me play some amazing sydney venues, such as The Basement, Oxford Art Factory, Oxford Art Factory & The Falls' Folk Club, Melt Bar, Excelsior Hotel, El Rocco Room, The Roxbury, Sandringham, and Melt Bar along with countless others.

I also have a few more songs which If I am successful, I will choose one or two to also put on the EP, but I don't want to give it all away at once. Leave some surprises.

I want to build walls around these songs, get bands together and have cameos from the countless talented musicians I know, have artists paint work for it, photographers take photos, and please if you are keen to be involved, Email me. I am always keen to work with amazing creative people.
